Underwater Floating Tunnels (Norway)
Norway has long been planning to build the first floating underwater tunnels in the world. As the records show, Norway is the home of 1,100 fjords and most of their people use ferries to travel but this means of transportation is inconvenient and time-consuming. With their plan of building underwater floating tunnels, it will need an extensive system of underwater tunnels, suspending 100 feet below the surface of the water and wide for two lanes of traffic. This $25-billion transport project is expected to open for traffic by about 2035.
